Following on from the Management of Tendering Process & Tender Assessment stage, once the contractors have been chosen, the contract between the parties has been agreed and signed, and the works have commenced, we can provide further assistance in Contract Administration by carrying out the following activities:
- Agreeing the percentage of works completed;
- Processing the contractor’s progress claims with recommendations for payment/non payment;
- Control and agree release of retention sums;
- Accurate assessment of the contractor’s progress claims, including if applicable, assessment of variation claims and providing recommendations for payment including determining the final costs for prime cost or provisional sum items and similarly, contingency sums allowed for at the tender stage.
