Special Purpose Building Reports
Special Purpose Building Reports are generally commissioned by the property owner or owners corporation to report on a specific building defect, or a small number of defect items – typically balcony or planter box waterproof membrane failures, bathroom leaks and water ingress issues. Following our building inspection and investigation, we record our observations and ‘findings’ in the special purpose building report, together with a photographic record of the defects, followed by discussion/diagnosis and recommendations/conclusions detailing our opinion on the suitable and cost effective repairs. Our special purpose building reports are customised to a level of detail which suits our Clients’ individual requirements. This ensures that we deliver quality, cost-effective reports which are specifically suited to the purpose for which they will be used. Also, to assist our Clients further we can assist with budget estimates for the repairs and if required, obtain prices for carrying out the works through competitive tender using specialist remedial contractors. More information about our Management of Tendering Process & Tender Evaluation services is available on our website. |
